USCB: One Vision, Three Campuses
The University of South Carolina Beaufort is situated in the South Carolina Lowcountry, in a resort area that draws vacationers from around the world.
The Bluffton campus (main campus) opened in 2004. You’ll find all of the amenities needed for college life here, including nine apartment-style residence buildings surrounding Campus Center, which includes Sand Bar dining, Shark’s Cove bookstore, meeting space for student clubs and activities, and the student lounge. This campus is also home to a 22,581-square foot state-of-the-art recreation center, the university's main library, administration building, the Student Sucess Center, and classroom buildings.
On the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway and in the heart of charming, historic downtown Beaufort, this campus is home to USCB's Honors, Studio Arts, History and Marine Biology programs and Center for the Arts. New, apartment-style residence halls are within walking distance of shops and galleries, casual seafood and five-star restaurants, and the waterfront park.
The Hilton Head Island campus opened in 2018 and houses the hospitality management degree program. The HHI campus is a working event and conference center that features state-of-the-art classrooms, a beverage lab and a demonstration kitchen. Students study, work, and hold internships in hotel, restaurant, tourism, and event management in an international destination that attracts more than two million visitors a year.
