USCB's Center for the Arts, the centerpiece of the historic Beaufort campus, hosts performing and visual arts shows including theater, chamber music, concerts, movies, and art exhibitions for audiences composed of the university community, local residents and visitors.
USCB's Sea Islands Center Gallery features the work of students, faculty, and renowned regional and national visual artists.
The Institute for the Study of the Reconstruction Era (IRSE) is housed above this gallery and offers programs to students and the community about this pivotal period in the Lowcountry's and nation's history.
Beaufort College Honors
USCB's honor's program, Beaufort College Honors (BCH), is available to qualifying students in all disciplines and offers specialized cohorts in Biology and Nursing. BCH scholars receive an annual Honors scholarship based on availability. Scholars remaining in good Honors program standing can maintain the scholarship for up to four years.
